The names of both superstars have been put up at the entrance of the prestigous O2 Academy Brixton in London ahead of a major concert this Sunday, Sept. 15

When Davido and Tiwa Savage picked up the 2014 MAMAs 'Artist of the Year' and 'Female Artist of the Year' awards back in June in Durban, some thought they may not have deserved it. But this is why they did!
The names of both superstars have been put up at the entrance of the prestigous O2 Academy Brixton in London ahead of a major concert this Sunday, Sept. 15.
O2 Academy Brixton has long been hailed London’s flagship venue, a must-play for artists and must-visit for music lovers. It has scooped the NME “Best Venue” award on an incredible twelve occasions between 1994 and 2007, proving its popularity with fans and the media alike and in 2009, received the Music Week ‘Venue Of The Year’ Award. With a capacity of almost 5,000, it is truly one of a kind on the circuit and combines the feeling of an electrifying arena sized atmospher.
Davido dropped the bomb on his Instagram Wednesday afternoon posting an image of the legendary building carrying his and Tiwa's names with the caption:
"Moments like this are worth more than money!! Live at the Brixton Academy this Sunday!!!!!"
This marks the first time both stars will perform at O2 Brixton and perhaps sends a strong message to the rest of the world that Nigerian artistes are as big as their Hollywood counterparts.
Gone are those days when African artistes couldn't get a spot to perform at the O2 - which is one the biggest platforms to host any artistes in Europe.
However, Davido and Tiwa now join the likes of PSquare, D'banj, Wizkid and the Mo'Hits crew to become the few Nigerian stars to hit any of the O2 venues in the past few years.
Davido simply just can't stop winning, now can he?
Davido strikes again!! The unrelenting popstar who has laid claims on the year of 2014 with hit after hits is offering another sick piece in alliance with Ivorien jam master DJ Arafat. Naughty is an explosive fusion of Afro-pop and Ivorien Decale style of music. While Davido comes nice on the vocals that make up verses and the hook, Arafat is totally losing his mind on the his bridge. Its produced by Boddhi Satva, so you know who to shout out to when the contagious instrument puts you in  a trance. Now waste no further time and bump to this.
Ruggedman is one of those entertainers who has had his fair share of beef and controversy in the entertainment industry.

Speaking exclusively with NET, when asked if the current beef between Wizkid and Davido is good for the image of the industry, he said ‘What two artistes feel for each other cannot affect the image of the industry. The real actions I believe will affect the image of the music industry is a crime committed by an artist. What they feel for each other only affects their image.’

When asked which is his favourite, the rapper, who rode to fame on the controversial but industry-redefining ‘Ehen Pt 1′ admits it’s difficult to choose. ‘I can’t pick one. I love the talent, great songs and drive they both have. If they choose to have a little friendly competition thing going it’s cool. It will drive them to do more and better. As long as they don’t get it twisted. It’s supposed to be friendly competition.
